Spicy okra or ladies’ fingers
Can you guess the vegetable in the picture? Another one of our delicious sides or meal on its own in our house. The first time I ate this vegetable was in India and to tell you the truth I was not a fan of it….maybe because was made in a sambar and like I said in a previous post I am not a fan of floating vegetables; but than my mother in law prepare it this way and was love at first bite.
This amazing vegetable come to live when its fried with curry leaves, cumin, turmeric, mustard seeds and diamond shallots…….Haven on Earth….
Fry okra till fully caramelized.
Love it….. Try it with a nice baked sea bass fillet as a side dish or with steamed rice.
